Rank & Issue announced their partnership with Villa Esperanza Services. The partnership supports Villa Esperanza’s nine programs for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

When renown jewelry designer and trend forecaster, Nadia Lee, gave birth to her little girl, she wanted to abide to the family tradition of giving her daughter a genuine gold keepsake to safeguard her peace and prosperity. After an exhaustive search, and unable to find anything in genuine gold or attractive, Nadia ultimately decided to design one herself; producing a one-off fine jewelry using her baby’s name. For Nadia, it was a necklace to be worn as a new mom to celebrate the birth of her child, in addition to being an heirloom with a personal touch when it is passed on.

The partnership with Villa Esperanza Services was launched last fall after Nadia and her husband Joseph toured Villa Esperanza Services to learn more about services for children with disabilities. “As parents, we have an intuitive realization throughout the process of giving birth and upbringing a child, how precious the health and development of a child is,” Lee shares. “It is a sentiment that touches us whenever we see, read and hear of other children and their circumstances, especially ones in need. It is something we wanted Rank and Issue to embody; that along with the celebration of our loved ones, we should also give thanks, and give back.” A portion of each purchase from the Rank & Issue line supports Villa Esperanza Services.

Villa Esperanza Services, established in 1961, is a non-profit serving children, adults and seniors with intellectual/developmental disabilities including more than twenty different diagnoses. Villa’s wide variety of programs and services assists more than 600 individuals and their families each year in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Villa offers nine programs including a school for children up to the age of 22 years; a Speech and Language Center and Occupational Therapy Clinic providing children, adults and seniors with comprehensive therapies; employment services; day programs for adults; and adult residences.
