To celebrate the release of local author Lisa C. Krueger’s new collection of poetry, Run Away to the Yard, Red Hen Press will host a Garden Poetry and Art Walk at Krueger’s Pasadena home on May 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This unique, intimate event will feature artwork and poetry from over a dozen local poets and artists, all of which will be displayed throughout Krueger’s garden. Guests will be welcomed to peruse the pieces at their leisure and refreshments will be served. The walk is open to the public, but names of attendees must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Garden Walk RSVP” to receive the address.
Lisa C. Krueger is a poet and clinical psychologist. She is the author of four books of poetry, Rebloom, animals the size of dreams, Talisman, and her latest collection Run Away to the Yard, all from Red Hen Press. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Atlanta Review, Ploughshares, and Prairie Schooner. She has written a series of interactive journals related to psychology and creativity and maintains a private therapy practice focused on women’s issues, health psychology, writing therapy, and the role of creativity in wellness. She lives in Pasadena, California.
