The community came out in force to help re-open one of Pasadena’s oldest public event buildings.

Hundreds of local residents, city officials, community leaders, and arts aficionados were on hand for the historic Pasadena Civic Auditorium Exhibition Hall’s ribbon‐cutting ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 8, followed by an exhilarating patriotic orchestral performance by MUSE/IQUE.

Constructed in 1931 and opened in 1932, the restored 17,000‐square‐foot facility last served as an exhibition hall and ballroom in 1976. It held the Pasadena Ice Skating Center rink from 1976-‐2011.
