Run a Red Light, Get a Ticket

Published on Monday, November 17, 2014 | 1:19 pm

The Pasadena Police Department will be conducting traffic enforcement at high collision intersections throughout the City of Pasadena on Friday, November 21, 2014. The hours of operation will be from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The types of violations seen at intersections — running red lights and signs, illegal turns, pedestrian right—of-way, rear-end-collisions — together account for more deaths and injuries on our roadways than any other single cause. The Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions.

Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
