State Senator Anthony J. Portantino, who represents Pasadena and the 25th California Senate District, will co-host a community town hall and legislative update with District 5 Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and the Altadena Town Council on Saturday, September 14.
The meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Altadena Arts Magnet Auditorium, located at 743 E. Calaveras Street in Altadena.
Members of the community can share their ideas and offer direct input on various issues, in what Portantino and Barger expect should be a robust conversation. Light refreshments will be served.
Senator Portantino represents nearly 930,000 people in the 25th Senate District, which includes Pasadena, Altadena, Atwater Village, Bradbury, Burbank, Claremont, Duarte, Glendale, Glendora, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Lake View Terrace, La Verne, Los Feliz, Monrovia, Montrose, San Dimas, San Marino, Shadow Hills, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Sunland-Tujunga, and Upland.
Supervisor Barger represents the 5th District, the largest supervisorial district of Los Angeles County, which includes Pasadena.
The 5th District spans about 2,800 square miles, and includes 22 cities and 70 unincorporated communities in the San Gabriel, San Fernando, La Cresenta, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.
