A Sunday evening residential garage fire caused extensive damage to a home in the 3700 block of Ranch Top Road in Pasadena’s Hasting Ranch neighborhood about 6:20 p.m.
Firefighters from both the Pasadena and the Arcadia Fire Departments knocked down the blaze quickly before flames could extend into the main structure itself.
The two residents at home self-evacuated.
The house has suffered smoke and water damage; the majority of the fire damage appears to have been confined to the garage, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
No cause had been determined at the time of this writing.
