Rose Parade-Related Freeway Offramp Closures Begin Tuesday Night

Here are closures you need to know about

If you plan to use local freeways to get into Pasadena on Tuesday, December 31 and on New Year’s Day, you’ll need to do some extra navigating because of ramp closures and restrictions due to the 2020 Rose Parade.

A Caltrans said the earliest ramp closure will happen at 7:30 p.m. along the Orange Grove Boulevard off-ramp left-turn lane, which will stay shut until 2 p.m. on Jan. 1.

Closures on I-710 in Pasadena will be:

Northbound:

  • 6 p.m. to 11 a.m.- California Boulevard on-ramp
  • 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. – Del Mar Boulevard on-ramp

Southbound:

  • 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. – Del Mar Boulevard off-ramp
  • 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. – California Boulevard off-ramp left-turn lane

Both directions of Pasadena Avenue (I-710) between Columbia Street and Del Mar Boulevard:

  • 8 p.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Interstate 210 – (Tuesday, December 31 through Wednesday, January 1)

Westbound:

  • 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Sierra Madre Blvd. off-ramp

Eastbound:

  • 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. – San Gabriel Blvd. off-ramp

 

State Route 134

Eastbound (Tuesday, December 31 through Wednesday, January 1)

  • 8 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Orange Grove Blvd. off-ramp

Westbound (Tuesday, December 31 through Wednesday, January 1)

  • 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Orange Grove Blvd. off-ramp left-turn lane

Westbound (Wednesday, January 1)

  • 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Orange Grove Boulevard on-ramp

 

State Route 110 (Arroyo Seco Parkway)

Northbound (Tuesday, December 31 through Wednesday, January 1)

  • 7:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.- Orange Grove Boulevard off-ramp left-turn lane

The statement said Caltrans has issued an encroachment permit for these closures. Motorists are advised to expect delays and to avoid the area or use alternate routes.
