On Saturday, September 9, 2017, agents and staff of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Pasadena office rallied in support of their 3rd annual Homes for Dogs Project. This national campaign is aimed at helping adoptable dogs and cats find loving homes because – the difference between a house and a home is love. Coldwell Banker partnered with Adopt-A-Pet.com in 2015 to hold this annual adoption event through local brokerages across the United States and Canada. In only its first nine months, over 20,000 dogs found loving forever homes.

Partnering in Pasadena with Volunteers in Defense of Animals (VIDA) 12 dogs and two cats were on hand for adoption last Saturday. VIDA is a local shelter in pursuit of forever homes for dogs and cats. The project’s event objective is a simple one: connect good people with great pets at adoption events across the United States and Canada.

This year’s event was held against the backdrop of Hurricane Harvey and the knowledge that many four-legged family members needed temporary shelter and fostering. In San Antonio, TX and elsewhere, many local adoption events also became a Foster a Hurricane Pet location as well as pet supply donation hubs.
