Soulful Sunday Brunch Satisfies Your Craving for Music and Food

Published on Monday, November 28, 2016 | 12:03 pm

The Rose’s new Soulful Sunday Brunch is part gospel and Motown concert, part buffet of Southern and breakfast foods and undoubtedly the best way to spend your Sunday morning.

The weekly Soulful Sunday Brunch is modeled off of the hit Gospel Brunch at The House of Blues and features Miss Sylvia St. James as emcee plus a gospel choir and selection of Motown songs like “Knock on Wood” and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” by the Temptations. These vibrant performers put their hearts into the music and had the audience clapping and dancing along in no time.

Pair these energetic performers with a swoon-worthy soul food brunch and you’ll be in heaven. The buffet brunch includes an omelets and waffle station plus cornbread, southern fried chicken, BBQ spare ribs, shrimp cocktails, macaroni and cheese to die for and many other breakfast goodies. You can also complete your meal with a mimosa or Bloody Mary for an additional charge.

Be sure to arrive early to take advantage of the brunch buffet spread so you’ll have time to get your last helpings before the music starts.

The Soulful Sunday Brunch will take place every Sunday. Brunch begins at 10:00 a.m. and the concert starts at 11:00 a.m. The Rose is located at 245 East Green Street. Call (888) 645-5006 or visit http://roseconcerts.com/ .
