RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 1-12-15, 11:20 AM, 1300 block of Indiana. Suspect(s) smashes rear window and reaches inside to unlock door to gain entry. Suspect(s) activates alarm and leaves. LOSS: Unknown.
• 1-10-15, 12:33 AM, 700 block of Monterey (hot prowl). Victim is home sleeping when suspect attempts to pry rear door open. Victim is awakened by noises and calls police. Officers arrive and suspect runs away. Suspect is later arrested after assistance with neighboring agencies, canines and a helicopter. LOSS: None. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 22 years, Los Angeles.
• 1-8-15, 7:30 AM to 1-11-5, 2:18 PM, 1800 block of Diamond. Suspect(s) force open side French doors to gain entry. Suspect(s) activates alarm and leave. LOSS: Unknown
• 1-8-15, 3 AM, 1200 block of Kolle (hot prowl). Victim is asleep when suspect enters through an unlocked rear door. Victim is awakened by noises and sees suspect standing in bedroom. Victim yells and suspect runs away. LOSS: None. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Unknown male, wearing dark clothes and holding a flashlight.
• 1-7-15, 12 PM to 3:30 PM, 1900 block of Alpha. Suspects knock on witness’s door and when witness does not answer, suspects walk to the side of the residence. Suspects see that witness is home and leaves, and witness calls police. Officers locate suspects a few blocks away and discover that suspects had burglarized two homes, 800 block of Valley View and 1900 block of Alpha. Suspects were in possession of property taken from both homes. Suspects had smashed a window to gain entry into the residence in the 1900 block of Alpha and through an opened window in the 800 block of Valley View. LOSS: Jewelry and cash
(recovered). SUSPECT ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Black, 18 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Black, 18 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Black, 19 years, Los Angeles.
• 1-6-15, 8 PM to 1-7-15, 9:20 PM, 400 block of Mission (storage locker). Suspect(s) enters by an unlocked door and takes loss. LOSS: Miscellaneous papers.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 1-12-15, 10:30 PM to 1-13-15, 6:30 AM, 300 block of El Centro (Arroyo Vista School). Suspect(s) smashes window to classroom to gain entry. LOSS: Earphones, laptop computer and (2) I-pads.
• 1-8-15, 10:30 PM to 1-9-15, 6:45 AM, 300 block of El Centro (Arroyo Vista School). Suspect(s) smashes window to classroom to gain entry. LOSS: Speakers and I-pad.
• 12-27-14, 11 AM to 12-29-14, 10:30 AM, 1600 block of Hope (Verdant Oak Behavioral). Suspect(s) pries open front doors to gain entry and takes loss. LOSS: (2) laptop computers and (2) I-pads.

AUTO BURGLARY

• 1-11-15, 6:36 AM to 9:40 AM, 90 block of Monterey. ’13, Lexus CT200H. Suspect(s) smashes window to gain entry. LOSS: Handbag.
• 1-6-15, 12:30 PM to 1-7-15, 5:45 AM, 1200 block of Blair. ’13, BMW 535. Suspect(s) pries window frame open to gain entry. LOSS: Travel bag.

ASSAULTS

• 1-10-15, 11:12 PM, Marengo/Huntington. Victim and suspects are involved in a traffic collision. Suspects exit vehicle and hits victim for causing accident. Officers arrive and victim declines to make a private persons arrest.

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

• 1-10-15, 12:27 AM, 300 block of Alta Vista. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia and methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 44 years, Los Angeles.
• 1-8-15, 11:10 PM to 1-9-15, 11:18 PM, 1600 block of Huntington. Officers respond to two subjects walking down driveways of residences and knocking on doors. Officers contact subjects who are found to have outstanding warrants. S1 is also found to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Male, Black, 24 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, Hispanic, 21 years, South Gate.

THEFT

• 1-13-15, 9 PM, 1400 block of Huntington (Big Lots). Suspects enter store and employee sees S1 placing loss inside a bag with S2 standing next to S1, blocking the view of S1. Suspects exit store without paying for loss and employee chases after suspects. S1 is detained but S2 leaves with
loss. Employees also detain S2 until officers arrive. LOSS: Merchandise (recovered). SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1 – Female, White, 34 years, Los Angeles. S2 – Male, White, 37 years, Los Angeles.
• 4-16-14 to 1-13-15, 600 block of Fairview. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s mailbox. LOSS: Mail.
• 1-11-15, 11:10 PM to 1-12-15, 10:10 AM, 600 block of Grand. Suspect(s) enters victim’s rear yard and take loss. LOSS: Bicycles.
• 1-11-15, 7:48 PM, 1700 block of Garfield (Ralphs). Suspect enters store and places loss inside a shopping bag. Employee sees suspect exiting store without paying for loss. LOSS: Liquor. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, White, 30-40 years, wearing a hat, black shirt, brown jacket and blue jeans.
• 1-9-15, 12:30 PM to 5:45 PM, 1100 block of Fremont. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Antenna and catalytic converter.
• 1-9-15, 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM, 400 block of Raymondale. Suspect(s) takes loss from apartment laundry room dryer. LOSS: Clothes.
• 1-9-15, 11 AM to 1:15 PM, 400 block of Mission. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s front porch. LOSS: Parcel package.
• 1-8-15, 1 PM to 1-9-15, 9 AM, 600 block of Mound. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: License plates.
• 1-8-15, 1 AM to 6:30 AM, 200 block of Alta Vista. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses, skateboard and cash.
• 1-7-15, 9:30 PM to 1-8-15, 8:30 AM, 300 block of Alta Vista. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Sunglasses and change.
• 1-7-15, 9 PM to 1-8-15, 8:10 AM, 200 block of St. Albans. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. LOSS: Keys and change.
• 1-7-15, 12:05 AM to 12 PM, 700 block of Orange Grove. Suspect(s) pries open lock to storage locker to gain entry. LOSS: Unknown.
• 1-6-15, 7 PM to 1-7-15, 7:45 AM, 500 block of Magnolia. Suspect(s) enter carport and takes unlocked loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• Unknown date to 1-13-15, 1900 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card account and makes several unauthorized charges.
• Unknown date to 1-12-15, 1600 block of Monterey. Suspect(s) uses victim’s social security number for employment.
• Unknown date and time to 1-10-15, 1400 block of Lyndon. Suspect(s) uses victim’s personal information to open a cell phone account.
• 12-29-14 to 1-9-15, 600 block of Orange Grove. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card and makes several unauthorized charges.
• 1-7-15 to 1-8-15, 300 block of Raymondale. Suspect(s) gains access to victim’s credit card account and makes several unauthorized charges.

VANDALISM

• 1-7-15, 8:30 PM to 1-8-15, 8:30 AM, 700 block of Mission. Suspect enters business by unknown means and vandalizes the interior office.
• 12-28-14, 8 PM to 12-29-14, 6 PM, 1200 block of Huntington. Suspect(s) writes graffiti on victim’s car door.
