Schlep & Fetch, a Los Angeles-based startup that services on-demand delivery through their online platform and recently-launched mobile app, is now in Pasadena and has partnered with local providers to serve any immediate delivery needs in the area – food, alcohol, dry-cleaning, retail, and even medical marijuana.

The Pasadena activity started when the company started serving the delivery requirements of Whole Foods Market, which now has two locations in Pasadena – one on the Arroyo Parkway and another one on E. Foothill Blvd.

Any Whole Foods Market customer can easily go online on the Schlep and Fetch website, www.schlepandfetch.com, place an order anything that he or she wants from the Market, and the crew delivers it at the fastest possible time. Or the customer can just download the Schlep and Fetch app and place the order.

“Customers can choose whatever they want from Whole Foods could place the order though the Schlep and Fetch website or mobile app… and it could be anything from Whole foods, from just a few items for groceries or catering an event, a party, and then they do not have to be worried about the delivery,” Maggie Pishner, supports outreach for the startup, said of the Whole Food Market partnership. “So Schlep and Fetch has a partnership with Whole Foods to go in there and shop for their customers and deliver items for them.”

Pishner says the company is looking forward to a wider expansion in California as well as just more partnerships in different areas. The Whole Foods partnership is the first one in the Pasadena area but may include Market’s Glendale location in a couple of weeks, she says.

Schlep and Fetch says it can deliver anything and everything “in a flash,” including diapers, gym clothes that you might have forgotten on your way to your daily workout, documents, flowers.

Among the other partners now working with Schlep and Fetch are Sqyre Alcohol Delivery, I Want it Now, and Nestdrop that provides medical marijuana on delivery. Individual customers can also use the app or online ordering system to get anything delivered from their own homes, as when someone leaves important papers on the way to work and couldn’t go back to retrieve them.

The Schlep and Fetch mobile app allows user to get quotes in 20 seconds or less, complete an order in two minutes, track order status or even rate a driver in the same app.

The app is free to download on the company website.
