Strong Arm Robbery On Lake Avenue and Walnut Street On Monday Night

Police are investigating a strong arm robbery which occurred in the area of Lake Avenue and Walnut Street last night at 10:24 p.m.

Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman said the victim, a 16-year-old male Altadena resident, and the suspects, two 14-year-old male Altadena residents, are known to one another and were talking while in the area of Lake Avenue and Walnut Street. The suspects asked to use the victim’s cell phone. When he refused, they physically assaulted him and stole his cell phone.

A police investigation led to the identification and arrest of the juvenile suspects, who were arrested and booked into the Pasadena Police Department for strong arm robbery. The stolen cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy (unknown model) was not recovered.

The victim did not require medical treatment.
