Sun Ho! Warm, Clear and Sunny Week Ahead, Even Into 80’s

Monday will be mostly sunny in Pasadena, with a high near 70. Residents, and drivers, should watch for strong wind events. According to the National Weather Service, winds will be light and variable wind becoming west at 10 to 15 miles per hour in the afternoon, and could gust as high as 25 mph.

NWS says wind advisories may be needed for some parts of Los Angeles County by Monday night when the wind event peaks. Winds will be north with gusts as high as 25 mph.

A strong ridge pushes in Tuesday, and maximum temperatures will jump four to eight degrees.

Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 78 and a north wind at five to 15 mph becoming west northwest in the morning. Winds could still gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Wednesday will be sunny and is predicted to be the warmest day of the week, with a high near 84.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 58.

On Thursday, an “inside slider,” a storm system that slides into California from the northwest, will zip down the Nevada-California state line and bring onshore flow and cooler conditions, and set the stage for another north wind event Thursday night and Friday morning.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high near 74.
