Sunny and Warm Week Ahead

Monday will generally be sunny in Pasadena as will the rest of the week be, although a westerly flow could cause some significant warming later in the week.

The National Weather Service says clouds could be thicker across most of southern California and cooler temperatures are expected, but for most of Los Angeles County, there will be a slower drop in temperature and slightly more sunshine.

Monday’s high are expected to be near 76 with a light and variable wind becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Monday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 57 and southwest winds around five miles per hour.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 73 and a southwest wind of about five to 10 mph.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 76. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Thursday could be the start of an overall warming trend through the remainder of the week, as a rather strong high pressure ridge builds over southwest California Thursday through Saturday. High temperatures will likely be well into the 70s and 80s with a few lower 90s possible for warmer interior valleys by the weekend.

Thursday’s high will be near 78, and Thursday night will be clear with a low around 52.

Friday – Sunny, with a high near 84.

Friday Night – Clear, with a low around 55.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 86.

Saturday Night – Clear, with a low around 56.

Sunday – Sunny, with a high near 86.
