Supervisor Antonovich Welcomes Pastor William Turner Jr. to Lead County Board of Supervisors Invocation

Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich welcomed Pastor William Turner, Jr., Senior Pastor of the New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church in Pasadena, to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, September 13, where he delivered the invocation.

Dr. William Turner has been the Pastor of New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church for 49 years.

Under Turner’s leadership, New Revelation built a community center which includes a pre-school, infant care center, elementary school, and a full court gymnasium. Currently, he is conducting a capital campaign to refurbish the center and increase capacity.

A strong community leader in Los Angeles County, Turner serves on several boards and commissions for the City of Pasadena and as the First Vice President of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Los Angeles, a network of over 300 churches.
