Two Men Arrested in Shooting of Las Vegas Woman Attending a North Los Robles Avenue Gathering on March 3

Two Pasadena men, Khy Charles, 21, and Davian Thomas, 23, have been arrested and charged with the attempted murder of a Las Vegas woman who was shot while at a gathering on North Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena earlier this month.

On Saturday, March 3 at approximately 9:53 p.m., Pasadena police responded to the 1200 block of North Los Robles Avenue regarding calls of multiple shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old woman suffering from a single gunshot wound. Officers also found at least one bullet hole in a nearby residence.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital where she was listed in serious condition.

An ongoing investigation by homicide and assault detectives culminated in the serving of multiple search warrants in the area, as well as the identification and arrest of both suspects on Friday, March 23.

Charges against the men were filed in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office on Tuesday, with one count of attempted murder with gun allegations against Charles, and one count of attempted murder with gun allegations against Thomas.

Bail for the men has been set at $2,040,000 each.

Interim Police Chief John E. Perez issued a statement in regards to the arrests.

“We continue to use our resources, expertise and partnerships, in collaboration with the public, to safeguard our local community,” Perez said. “These Detectives worked with the commitment to ensure justice is served and that Pasadena remains the safe city it has always been”.
