Temps to Drop, More Rain Likely (But The Week Starts Out as Full On Summer)

Pasadena weather is supposed to Yo-yo this week, starting sunny and clear at 79° on Monday but plummeting to a high of only 64° under rainy skies on Wednesday, forecasters said.

That rinse and repeat cycle seems to be on tap for Pasadena for the next few weeks, according to the National Weather Service.

Cooler afternoon temperatures return to the region on Tuesday as a series of storms bring a chance of rain and mountain snow from Tuesday through next weekend.

Here’s what expected for the week:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 64.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.
