Tetra-Tech Wins New Department of Defense Contracts

Pasadena-based Tetra Tech Inc. is one of five construction firms that were awarded new U.S. Army contracts to build new facilities on military bases around the world, the US Department of Defense announced.

The work, worth around $500 million in total, will include architectural engineering, environmental services, operations and maintenance, base realignment and closure and military family housing programs worldwide, the announcement said Monday.

Work is expected to be completed by November of 2023.

Aside from Tetra Tech, the other companies that won the new Army contracts include URS Group of San Antonio, Texas; Jacobs Government Services of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; HDR Environmental, Operations and Construction of Englewood, Colorado; and MWH-CARDNO TEC-BAKER-JV of San Antonio, Texas.

“The work includes all efforts necessary to manage and execute… services primarily for environmental projects including planning and programming, restoration, quality (compliance and pollution prevention) and conservation,” the announcement added.
