On October 7th the Arboretum saluted Ken and Freddi Hill for their dedicated leadership, inspired support, committed service, and boundless enthusiasm for the Arboretum. Ken, a past president of the Arboretum Foundation Board, shares a deep love of music and gardens with Freddi. Together they helped the Arboretum forge an expanded partnership with Los Angeles County, invigorated a summer concert series with the addition of the Pasadena POPs, and galvanized a new community of support for the Arboretum.

“For over a decade, Ken and Freddi have been at the center of positive change at the Arboretum. We are delighted to honor the Hills for their inspired leadership and support.,” said Richard Schulhof, CEO of the Arboretum.

It was a celebratory evening under the stars in the exquisite Arboretum gardens. Outstanding cuisine, specialty cocktails, craft beer and wine, and a live performance by a Pasadena POPs ensemble featuring conductor Larry Blank made it an enchanted evening.
