The Cure will headline and has curated the first-ever Pasadena Daydream Festival which will take place at the Brookside at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Aug. 31.
The new festival is promoted by Goldenvoice, which promoted Arroyo Seco Weekend which ran the last two years in June in the same location.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s latest inductees, The Cure, have “invited” a selection of their favorite artists for the summer headline event.
Led by the ethereal Robert Smith, The Cure has been instrumental in shaping the musical landscape. The band’s albums include Pornography, Disintegration and Bloodflowers. Since the 1980s, the band has produced many beloved pop hits “Boys Don’t Cry,” “Just Like Heaven” and “Friday I’m In Love.”
