The Langham Huntington, Pasadena Appoints Two Key Members to its Executive Committee

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Southern California’s iconic landmark hotel, has announced the appointment of Vern Lakusta as Director of Hotel Operations and Jeff Gillick as Director of Sales and Marketing to its senior management team. Each brings their own unique hospitality industry experience and knowledge to the Pasadena hotel.

Vern Lakusta, formerly Director of Food and Beverage at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, is appointed to take on the role as Director of Hotel Operations where he will function as the strategic business leader of all hotel operations. Lakusta brings more than 20 years of extensive operational experience to the hotel and has worked with a number of hospitality brands including the W Hotel in Los Angeles, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts throughout California and Canada, and the London West Hollywood, among others. Lakusta completed his course of studies in Hospitality Management at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario.

Jeff Gillick, a seasoned hospitality professional, joins the hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing, with a background of over 20 years in the industry. In his role, Gillick will oversee the Sales and Marketing team and be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the hotel’s objectives. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for other notable hospitality groups such as, Bacara Resort & Spa, The Boulders Resort & Spa, and Wyndham International, to name a few. Gillick attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.
