On January 26th, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), Greater Pasadena Area chapter, announced its endorsement of Jacque Robinson for the position of Mayor of Pasadena.

Berjouhi Koukeyan, President of the Pasadena chapter, said “Jacque Robinson brings two years’ experience as Pasadena’s Vice Mayor and eight years as a strong leader on the Pasadena City Council in difficult economic times. Jacque will use her cooperative leadership style to work together with businesses, the arts, nonprofits, and public schools to make Pasadena a greater city for us all. She is the kind of Mayor we need to keep Pasadena strong, peaceful, prosperous and beautiful. She will be a great Mayor, and we are proud to support her.”

The National Women’s Political Caucus is a multi-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and creating a true women’s political power base to achieve equality for all women. NWPC recruits, trains and supports pro-choice women candidates for elected and appointed offices at all levels of government regardless of party affiliation.
