Pasadena seniors, it’s never too late to get healthy! Join the experts as they explain how at this year’s Pasadena Conference on Healthy Aging on Saturday, April 28, from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on the campus of First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena.
The annual conference will feature workshops focused on shared interests and concerns among seniors of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Workshop topics will cover medical marijuana, senior cyber safety. Medicare, ?nancial security, and caregiver support. Product demonstrations and health screening will also be included in the event.
This year’s keynote address, “Aging with Purpose: Grace, Meaning and Joy” will be given by Dr. Laura Mosqueda, interim dean and professor of family medicine and geriatrics at USC’s Keck School of Medicine.
The conference is presented by the Pasadena Senior Center.
Founded in 1960, the Pasadena Senior Center is an independent nonpro?t agency that offers recreational, educational, wellness and social services to people ages 50 and older in a welcoming environment.
