The haute dining room, The Royce, will be closing, when Chef David Feau serves his last meal there on January 26. The Royce, at Pasadena’s historic Langham Hotel, opened its doors in October, 2010 [see our story: “New Restaurant Name and Chef de Cuisine for Langham Pasadena“].
Under Feau, the Los Angeles Times gave the Royce a three-stars rating for his French-inspired California cuisine, which left many wondering why it would be closed down for business.
A new — and yet to be named – American steakhouse concept will take over when the space reopens in late February. Chef Feau is leaving the Langham. The Royce had replaced the Dining Room.
