Cloudy Skies with Rain Possible This Week

The combination of a building ridge over California and a weak offshore surface flow could make temperatures in Pasadena increase later today and tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

For today, besides variable high clouds, maximum temperatures are expected to be three to eight degrees higher today, then another one to four degrees warmer Tuesday as the upper ridge peaks at strength with continued weak offshore flow.

Los Angeles County valleys could be in the lower to mid 70s later today, and the warmest valley locations in the lower 80s on Tuesday.

Monday night should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 56 and an east southeast wind around five mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday should be partly sunny, with a high near 76 and an east northeast wind at around five mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

Tuesday night should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Wednesday should be partly sunny, with a high near 76 and an east wind at around five to 10 mph becoming south southeast in the morning.

A 20 percent chance of rain is possible Wednesday night, otherwise it is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Thursday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 73.

Friday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
