This New Restaurant Will Be Your New Breakfast Haven

 

The newest restaurant in Pasadena promises to make your breakfast dreams come true. Colette is a bright, welcoming breakfast and lunch spot with a simple menu of updated classics. Joy Meyer, the restaurant’s manager and consultant explains that Colette is a laid-back establishment offering something for everyone from lighter eaters to traditional breakfast lovers to children.

 

 

“We make things that no one else is making in this area – the menu is straight-forward, uncomplicated and fresh,” said Meyer.

 

Colette’s take on a traditional breakfast sandwich includes two eggs over hard with bacon, spinach, sharp cheddar and guajillo chili spread on a brioche bun. This earthy chili also appears in the Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Sandwich. They are also featuring salads like the Chicken Yuzu with artisanal lettuce, snap peas, radicchio and roasted chicken with yuzu dressing and toasted sesame seeds.

 

 

For something a bit sweeter, choose the Sunflower Butter and Banana Toast which comes with a sliced banana and honey drizzle or Colette’s exclusive Churro French Toast – battered in cinnamon sugar and served with Vermont maple syrup or ice cream.

 

The children’s menu offers healthy choices for little guests – not just the standard chicken fingers and grilled cheese. Choose from a Chicken Veggie Bowl, Baked Russet Potato or Cheesy Scrambled Eggs. Meyer adds that substitutions and additions will all be accommodated.

 

 

Adults can also choose from a short but varied wine and beer list. In addition to mimosas, Colettte offers beer on tap and a selection of wine. The Standard Madewest beer is the perfect, light beer for brunch that is light on the hops but extremely refreshing. There will also be organic sodas by Stubborn with flavors like Vanilla and Acai.
