Friday, November 17 - Salvation Army’s 4th Annual Red Kettle Kickoff Breakfast

Pasadena Salvation Army starts their holiday fundraising campaign with the 4th Annual Red Kettle Kickoff Breakfast at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium. Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. in the all new UCLA Locker Room and will conclude at 10:00 a.m. NBC4 Weather Man Fritz Coleman will return as the emcee and NBC4 Southern California President and General Manager Steve Carlson is the keynote speaker. Guests, many alumni of USC and UCLA alumni and supporters, will battle against each other’s school to raise funds for the numerous programs sponsored by the Pasadena Salvation Army, including meal deliveries, holiday gifts and food for underprivileged families, and care for inbound seniors and the homeless.


Friday, November 17 - Institute for Educational Advancement (IEA) Awards Dinner & Celebration

The nonprofit Institute for Educational Advancement (IEA) will host its annual fundraiser event in support of its mission to ensure that each gifted child’s specific needs are met so that they can reach their full intellectual and personal potential. Attendance for the Awards Dinner & Celebration is anticipated at 125 guests and the evening will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, live auction, and program. IEA will honor three Pasadena-area locals who have helped gifted students in the area.


Saturday, November 18 - Le Mieux Presents Shop for Fund

It’s been over 40 days since Hurricane Maria took away the lives and homes of many affected by this tragic disaster. 30% of Puerto Ricans are still without electricity or power. According to an assessment by the Rhodium Group, a policy analysis firm, this is now officially the longest blackout in US history. Help is still needed! This is why Le Mieux is hosting Shop For Fund, a fundraiser for Puerto Rico relief on November 18, 2017!


Saturday, November 18 - ”Young Americans” Fashion Show Benefit

Freedom & Fashion, an organization that empowers youth to overcome trafficking, homelessness and other injustices by using the arts of fashion and beauty as a focus of expression, is hosting their 9th annual fashion show benefit entitled “Young Americans” at CTRL Collective in Pasadena.
