Tinder Dry and in the 90’s Every Day This Week

The National Weather Service is predicting hot and dry conditions with gusty winds that could bring fire danger to a large portion of the western United States this week.

“Any fire in this region will have the potential to grow rapidly out of control,” says the NWS warning.

For Pasadena, it will be the tinder dry conditions and the consistent 90s maximum temperatures that will describe the coming week as high pressure builds in and starts a warming trend through much of the workweek.

Tuesday will be cloudy through mid-morning then clear gradually for highs to go near 89 with a moderate south and southwest wind. Tuesday night lows will be around 62.

Wednesday is going to be sunny, with a high near 91. A light and variable wind becomes southwest at five to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 91. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 63.

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 92.

Thursday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 63.

Friday – Sunny, with a high near 90.

Friday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 63.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 87.

Saturday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Sunday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
