Top Colleges to Attend PCC University Day on Sept. 22

More than 75 colleges and universities, including USC and UCLA, are slated to attend Pasadena City College’s University Day on Sept. 22 in the PCC Quad.

Students interested in transferring to a four-year university can explore transfer opportunities, learn about majors, attend workshops, learn about financial aid, and apply to guaranteed admissions programs during the event.

Information booths from UC, CSU, independent, and out-of-state colleges will be set up in the Quad area from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“University Day is an opportunity for PCC students to meet directly with university representatives who can assist them in the transfer process,” said Tameka Alexander, interim director of PCC Recruitment, Outreach and Transfer.

Prior to the event, a “Transferring to USC” workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in PCC’s Creveling Lounge (second floor of the PCC Campus Center). To RSVP for the workshop, visit www.pasadena.edu/transfer.
