Get Your Game On! Just Getting to Today's U.S. Women's Soccer Match at the Rose Bowl Will be a Challenge

West Mountain Street between the I-210 Freeway and Lincoln Avenue will be reduced to one lane during today's USA vs Ireland match at the Rose Bowl

The 210 Freeway and some surface streets east of the Rose Bowl are likely to be more clogged than usual game days due to the reduction of a key street to one lane today.

The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team will unleash its first Victory Tour match against the Republic of Ireland at the Rose Bowl this evening.

Authorities urged motorists to plan their routes carefully Saturday to avoid hitting major delays.

West Mountain St. between the I-210 Freeway and Lincoln Ave. will be reduced to one lane, which will snarl traffic as spectators stream into town.

The match begins at 7 p.m., but the parking lots open at 3 p.m.

Pasadena Dept. of Transportation officials also point out there will be two stress-and-congestion-relieving shuttles for fans today:

Pasadena Transit Route 51 will run every 11 minutes between 4 tp8 p.m. to get you from Gold Line Memorial Park Station to Rose Bowl Stadium for the game.
