Two Armed Men Reportedly Attempt to Break Into Verizon Store in East Pasadena

Police are looking for two young men who reportedly tried to rob a Verizon store on Foothill Blvd. in Pasadena Wednesday night.

Lt. Mark Goodman said the men walked up to the front of the store located at 3811 E. Foothill Blvd. at about 8:52 p.m. when the business was closed and the door was locked.

“Both suspects tried to pull the door open, but were unable to do so due to it being locked,” Goodman said. “The suspects entered a white car and fled the scene.”

The suspects were further described as both being black, both standing about five feet 10 inches tall and weigheing about 190 pounds. One of them wore a black ski mask and was armed with a handgun. The other had on a grey sweatshirt and also a black ski mask.

Goodman said responding officers failed to locate the two men on the scene. Investigation is ongoing.
