Two men robbed a hotel in Pasadena and made off with about $600, a laptop and a cell phone early Tuesday, Pasadena police said.
The robbery occurred at the Siesta Inn on 2855 E Colorado Blvd. at past 3:30 a.m.
While one of the suspects acted as a lookout, the other man, wearing a bandanna, entered the hotel and, acting like he had a gun in a backpack, demanded money from the clerk on duty, Lt. Mark Goodman told the Pasadena Star-News.
The employee handed over the money and his cell phone to the robber, described to be Latino, in his early 20s, of thin build and about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a black bandanna, a white hooded sweatshirt with the word “Brooklyn” and the number “23” on the front, red shorts and black shoes.
Police described the other suspect as also Latino, in his early 20s, of light complexion, short black hair and thin mustache, and was about 5 feet 8 inches tall as well. He was wearing a white tank top with the word “Nike” in black letter in the front, blue jeans and black shoes.
Lt. Goodman said no one was hurt in the incident.
