Pasadena police officers are searching for two men who robbed a pharmacy on E. Washington Blvd. Wednesday and fled with several bottles of a opioid drugs.
The robbery, which occurred at the Pasadena City Pharmacy located at 1684 E. Washington, was reported at about 12:10 p.m., said Lt. Mark Goodman, Watch Commander.
“A couple of guys came in, announced themselves, and jumped the counter simulating a handgun,” Goodman said. “They took a whole bunch of opioid medication.”
Goodman said both of the suspects simulated having a handgun, although nobody actually saw a gun during the incident.
Goodman said witnesses described both of the suspects as black, between 25 and 30 years old, and wearing dark-colored clothing. One of the suspects was about six foot tall, according to the description.
The Watch Commander assured no one was injured during the robbery. The suspects fled on foot after the robbery.
“Nobody was hurt, but they were able to get several bottles of prescription opioid medication.
