The Pizza Experience, an immersive multi-sensory pop-up museum with interactive pizza-themed rooms and activations, is coming to Pasadena in October. Ticket sales are on now, and the organizer says they’re going like … hot pizzas.
“A favorite pastime. A national treasure. Human civilization’s finest achievement,” says an announcement on the Pizza Experience website. “That melty, cheesy, doughy goodness is stuff dreams are made of and we are making those dreams a reality – an extra large reality!”
The Pizza Experience, which launches on October 1 and goes on until January 29, promises “room after room of immersive sensory overload, captivating experiences, selfie stations, catwalks giant installations, videos, an oversized cheese pool, a Hall of Pizza Fame,” all for the love of pizza,” the announcement said.
Some of the previously announced rooms at The Pizza Experience include the Pizza Night Club, the Pizza Fitness Center and the Dough Room. Now, a Pizza Heaven has been added, which is “all your cheesy dreams come true.”
A Pizza Gallery also showcases an artist interpretation of the modern pie, and the Pizza Pool Party “will help you beat the kitchen’s heat and cool off,” the announcement said.
The event will be at the Raymond Theater at 129 N. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, located near the 210 and 710 interchange. The Metro Gold Line is also steps away. Ample parking is available around the venue, the organizer said.
Tickets are $30 online. The general admission ticket includes entrance to the museum, pizza flavored snacks and a slice of pizza.
