That’s right—you can fire up the grill this weekend for your Super, or Puppy Bowl bash, as unseasonably warm temps and sunny skies continue with no end in sight. Forecast-wise, there’s little variation over the next few days.
There will be some high-level clouds overhead with sky conditions wavering between mostly clear and partly cloudy. As for temperatures, there will only be minor, day-to-day changes, based on the whims of surface pressure gradients.
Afternoon high temperatures will generally be 6-12 degrees above seasonal normals Friday and Saturday. As for winds, there will be some locally gusty winds each night/morning, but nothing close to advisory level winds like we’ve seen in recent weeks.
The beginning of next week, from Sunday to Wednesday, will see more of the same. Temperatures will continue to exhibit minor day-to-day changes, yet remain above seasonal normals.
Overall, it looks to be sunny and warm for the next ten days. The National Weather Service has Pasadena dry into mid-February.
The day-to-day breakdown is as follows:
Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 81, and a calm wind becoming south-southwest at around 5 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low of about 49 and a south-southwest wind around 5 mph, which will turn north in the evening.
Saturday looks to be sunny, with a high near 81. A north wind of around 5 mph will become calm in the morning. Saturday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 48.
Super Bowl Sunday will be sunny with a high of 81. Sunday night will remain clear with a low of 51.
The sunny weather continues on Monday which will reach a high near 78. Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 50.
Tuesday will be sunny and 80 degrees. Tuesday night will be mostly clear with a low of around 52.
Wednesday jumps up a few degrees, with a high of about 84.
