Upcoming Traffic Enforcement Program

The Pasadena Police Department will be conducting a Traffic Enforcement program this Friday, November 1, 2019, throughout the City of Pasadena.

Officers will be deployed at various locations throughout the city to look for violations including, but not limited to, primary collision factors involving speed, red signals, and right of way violations. When violations are observed, motorists will be cited and/or educated on the safety concerns associated with the violation.

“Roadway safety is a top priority in our city,” noted Traffic Section Lieutenant Max Dahlstein. “Partnering with OTS enables our Traffic Section to provide service to many areas of the city that have specific traffic issues. We want to keep commuters safe.”

The Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public while at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions. Lieutenant Dahlstein can be reached via e-mail at mdahlstein@cityofpasadena.net.

Funding for these programs is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
