Upscale Burger Restaurant Set to Open in East Pasadena

Burger restaurant Hook Burger says it will open its newest location on East Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena on April 2, adding to the city’s growing number of bistro quality restaurants.

Hook Burger was founded by brothers Brent and Bruce Reichard, who are also responsible for the now 33-unit Habit Burger Grill chain based in Irvine, CA.

Much like its Irvine-based counterpart, Hook Burger has customers paying at the counter as they order, but instead of picking up their order at the counter as well, customers are seated and have their food served to their tables.

Another difference from Habit Burger is the inclusion of beer and wine in Hook Burger’s menu adding to the bistro quality experience offered by the restaurant at quick-casual prices.

The restaurant’s menu features char-broiled prime chuck burgers as well as chicken, tuna, turkey, and steak sandwiches. Salads and side dishes are also available.

Drinks include sodas, juices, shakes, and floats as well as the earlier mentioned beer and wine. They also have a kids’ menu for children 10 years old and below.

With the opening of their Pasadena location, Hook Burgers announces its rolling out of a new beer lineup with drafts and bottles from California and west coast craft breweries like Hangar 24, Green Flash, North Coast and Lost Coast across all Hook Burger locations.

The Pasadena location is Hook Burger’s third, with Brent Reichard announcing plans to expand across a wide swath of Southern California.
