Vandalism, Homeless Issues Said Causes of Reduced Hours at West Pasadena Post Office

Published on Sunday, July 5, 2015 | 7:02 pm

The Post Office at the Orangewood Center at 99 West California Blvd. is reducing the number of hours that the lobby is unattended due to “an increase in vandalism and problems associated with homelessness.”

Effective July 18, the new lobby hours will be from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The post office will be closed on Sundays. Access to Post Office Boxes will only be within those operating hours after the 18th.

Mailers and Post Office Box holders are advised to get in touch with Officer-in-Charge Shawn White, at (626) 304-7164, for further information about the changes.
