Victory Bible Church to Present ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’

So many people are searching for light in a dark world. We are desperate for truth apart from manipulating lies… love and acceptance amid hate and rejection… hope in a pit of despair. Is there anyone compelled to give more than they take? There is light, truth, love, hope and selfless sacrifice revealed in the epic story of Jesus Christ, the Gift of God to all humanity.

“The Greatest Story Ever Told” will be presented by Victory Bible Church, its Annual Christmas Candlelight Concert, hosted at The First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena (PazNaz) on Saturday, December 21st, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. It is an anticipated event filled with wonderful musical, performing, and other visual arts. Featured Artists include Jonathan Nelson and Anita Wilson, special guest Indie Artist, Shamira Williams, along with a distinguished 100 voice choir. VBC’s Christmas Candlelight Concert is always an exciting opportunity to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel and to spread the joy of knowing how real God’s love is.

This year’s event will highlight the outreach efforts of a local transitional housing program called the Oxford House. They are wonderful people who continue in God’s desire to heal the broken hearted and bring hope to those held captive by despair. VBC has partnered with the Oxford House, and a percentage of the proceeds will go to support their service to the community. What an occasion to acknowledge the true meaning of this celebrated season!
