With less than two months until the Rose Bowl Party of the Century, the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation continues to roll out a lineup of expected celebrity guests for the April 18 celebration, making it the most talked about event of the year.

Vince Young, legendary Rose Bowl performer, College Football Hall of Famer, and former Texas Quarterback will attend the Rose Bowl Party of the Century at America’s Stadium. As a two-time Rose Bowl Game MVP, Young turned in two dominant performances in the shadows of the broad-shouldered San Gabriel Mountains. His most memorable game, however, is the often-discussed BCS National Championship Game from 2006. The game is often called the most exciting game in college football history.

Young’s Texas Longhorns team faced a USC Trojans team in the midst of a 34-game winning streak; Young’s famous fourth down scamper into the end zone at the Rose Bowl with just seconds remaining on January 1, 2006 sealed a 41-38 win over the USC Trojans.

While strapping up with the Longhorns, Young captivated college football with his athleticism and leadership.

Young is a two-time Rose Bowl Game Champion, a Rose Bowl Hall of Famer and also captured several accolades during his time in Austin. His collegiate honors include being named a consensus All-American, Maxwell Award winner, Davey O’Brien Award Winner, and was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy. As a new inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame (2019), Young’s No. 10 jersey is retired and will never be worn again by a Texas football player.

He was drafted as a top-five pick in the 2006 NFL Draft’s first round by the Tennessee Titans, winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Young spent nine seasons in the league and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection.  He won the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year Award in 2009.

The announcement of Young’s attendance at the Rose Bowl Party of the Century continues the growing list of celebrity figures set to attend the April 18 celebration at the Stadium, including Kirk Herbstreit and the event’s Master of Ceremonies, Rich Eisen.

Expected to welcome more than 1,200 guests to the famed-turf of America’s Stadium on April 18, 2020, the Rose Bowl Party of the Century will celebrate the life and moments of the venue’s global history, while generating support to protect, preserve and enhance its future as a National Historic Landmark.
