Walking Among the Stars at the Great Gatsby Gala

Lights, camera, action! TV and film stars mingled with the plain folk at the Pasadena International Film Festival’s (PIFF) Great Gatsby Gala held at the Weston.

Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Eric Roberts (Dark Knight) received Lifetime Achievement Awards. PIFF also honored Tom Lenk (The Cabin in the Woods) with the Comedic Mastery Award and Sadie Calvano (Mom) with the Rising Star Award.

Doris Roberts going strong at 90 delighted the audience exclaiming that she “had just begun”. While Sadie Calvano gave her appreciation to her presentor and mentor Mimi Kennedy.

The film festival continues through President’s Day, Monday, Febraury 16 with films being shown at the Lemaele Theatre. Passes are still available.
