Want to Launch a Business? This Free Pasadena Small Business Development Center Seminar Can Tell You How

The Pasadena Small Business Development Center (SBDC) inside Pasadena City College’s Foothill campus is holding a free two-part Business Launch Pad seminar starting on Thursday, September 26, 10 to 11 a.m.

The series covers the fundamentals needed to start and grow a business, and is ideal for the new business owner as well as existing companies.

The format is structured to provide a business checklist identifying areas that need to be addressed. After each session, you will receive a handout with additional resources, as well as an invitation to schedule a private consultation to review your individual business.

Thursday’s seminar covers Financial Forecasting, Accounting and Management, and includes discussions on financial forecasting for startup or growth, types of financing options available, managing cash flow requirements, and determining the financial health.

The workshop and consultations are at no charge to the business owners.

Business Launch Pad is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Pasadena SBDC helps small business owners succeed with low cost training and no-cost one-on-one consulting from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts.
