Water will not be available on a number of buildings inside Pasadena’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory until Thursday afternoon, due to repairs currently being done on a water main.
The buildings that will not have water are 168, 169, 170, 179, 186, 233, 249, 301 and T1721.
Restoration of water service to these buildings is expected by Thursday afternoon. As a precaution, fire watch teams are patrolling the affected buildings.
JPL said employees will be allowed into the buildings, although they may have to speak to their managers about telecommuting because of the expected inconvenience.
Additionally, employees won’t be allowed to park under Building 301 while the repairs are ongoing.
Employees are advised to check the JPL Space website or the Lab Information number, (800) 303-4575 or (818) 354-8601, for updated information.
