Weather Rollercoaster Predicted for Week, With Temps Plummeting 27 Degrees and Sunny Days Replaced with Rainy Ones

A wild weather week is in store for Pasadena and the rest of Los Angeles County as skies and temperatures are expected to vary dramatically, according to the National Weather Service.

Temps could drop from a 90 degree high on Monday to only 63 degrees on Wednesday.

The NWS said Tuesday could see showers in the afternoon bring a half-inch to an inch of rain for L.A. county

The low will move out Thursday night and Friday, which will see clearing skies and increasing temps rising a few degrees with more warming on tap over the weekend.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 90. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Calm wind.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. South southeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Wednesday: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. South southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Wednesday Night: Showers likely, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 47.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
