Weekend “Cooling” Trend to Take Pasadena Down to a Mere 93 by Sunday

Friday will be hot and sunny in Pasadena. Expect a high near 98 as a light south wind becoming south southwest blows in the afternoon at five to 10 miles per hour.

For Southwestern California, the National Weather Service warns it will be hot across interior sections Friday with elevated fire concerns.
Thunderstorms are possible in the mountains and deserts over the weekend, signaling the arrival of some monsoonal moisture that could bring some slight chance of showers for Pasadena.

Friday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 74. A south southwest wind at around five mph becomes calm in the evening.

Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 94. Light south winds becoming south southwest in the afternoon could gust as high as 15 mph.

Saturday night will be mostly clear, with lows around 71.

Sunday is going to be sunny, with a high near 93. An upper high will weaken a bit on Sunday, bringing a couple more degrees of cooling in the area.
