Check Out Whizz Bang, a Sparky Little Hop Rocket

 

Garage Project is a microbrewery based in New Zealand it is made up of Pete Gillespie, Jos Ruffell, and Ian Gillespie – three guys having a great time. When they first started out they were tiny – they weren’t even micro brewing… it was a truly nano brewery. After nine years of working in breweries with equipment 100 times bigger it was quite a change to downsize to a fifty-liter brew kit.

 

Three years have passed and they have grown, but that same ethos still shapes how they do things at the Garage. Whether they are brewing 50 liters or 2000, they are still here to take some risks, to have a bit of fun and to try something new.

 

Recently they collaborated with Modern Times out of San Diego, CA to create Whizz Bang, a sparky little hop rocket brewed with Riwaka, American Mystery Hop #07270 and a little touch of Gunpowder.
