Williams Still Above 50 Percent in District 2

As of 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, District 2 City Council Candidate Felicia Williams remains above 50 percent in the election.

Williams received 1,636 votes, 51.06 percent of the vote. Her closest competitor Tricia Keane has just 851 votes or 26.56 percent of the vote.

“Still hard to tell the final result of the primary, but I am hopeful that the voters supported my clean, honest campaign that focused on the issues and bringing the community together. I have my list of District 2 concerns from my walking and am ready to get to work. Fingers crossed!”

Bo Patatian (434 votes, 13.55 percent) and Kevin Litwin (283 votes, 8.83 percent) trail the front runners in a race to fill the seat that’s being vacated by three-term incumbent Margaret McAustin. , according to results announced on the website of the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.
