Win Free Tickets to the 2016 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game

 

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association challenges you to make a personal video (the easy way) and you can win free tickets to the 2016 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game.

The Association launched a video contest contest Dec. 15 in collaboration with Magisto, a web app and mobile app that provides free automatic video editing service for amateurs.

To win the tickets and VIP hospitality, consumers have to sign-up on Magisto’s website (https://www.magisto.com/TOR).

They can also download the Magisto app from the iOS app store or Google Play and enter using the hashtag, #MyNewYear.

They can then use Magisto’s easy-to-use video editing app to make videos that tell their own stories from 2014 and share how they intend to celebrate New Year 2015.

“We are delighted to team with Magisto and provide fans with the opportunity to share their experiences from 2014 and how they plan to celebrate the New Year,” said Tournament of Roses President Richard Chinen.

“With more than 80 million people around the world joining America’s New Year Celebration each year, it is important for the Tournament of Roses to provide new and unique ways to enhance their experience with us.”

The competition will end Jan. 15 and the winning submission will be announced February, 2015.

Magisto’s app turns photos and videos into professional quality movies in minutes. Magisto, a company based in Israel, aims to solve the problem of video editing being too complicated and time-consuming by letting users edit their videos in a click.

Its image analysis technology analyzes unedited videos and identifies the most interesting segments. The technology recognizes faces, animals, action sequences and other interesting content in the video. It also analyzes speech and audio.

The system automatically edits these scenes and combines them with music and effects into share-worthy clips.

The 126th Rose Parade presented by Honda has the theme, “Inspiring Stories”. It will take place Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 and will be followed by the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual.
