Woman's Civic League of Pasadena Hosts Outstanding Local Registered Dietitian and Author

Victoria-Buxton Pacheco is a Registered Dietitian and has a B.A. & M.A. in Nutrition and recently, completed and published a nutrition textbook entitled Nutrition Intuition: A Practical Approach to Health and Well Being.

Needless to say, she was an outstanding speaker sharing valuable health tips for WCL members and guests. She works in the Community Outreach Department at Arcadia Methodist Hospital and provides nutritional education & screenings at community events. She provides nutritional counseling in many areas such as: gestational diabetes, heart disease, cancer and weight management. Also, she teaches monthly diabetes classes at Arcadia Methodist Hospital and has a Certificate in Adult Weight Management with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The purpose of the Woman’s Civic League is the advancement of civic ideals through the support of agencies providing services to women and children and the enrichment of the lives of our members through the accomplishment of common goals and development of lasting friendships.
