“Giving back” or the expression of gratitude is a significant aspect of yoga.
That’s why Yoga House co-founder Farzaneh Noori decided to begin First Responders, a complementary class exclusively for firefighters, sheriff’s deputies and police officers often dealing with high stress in serving the community,
“Yoga plays an important role in maintaining overall health and stress reduction as part of a regular exercise regimen,” commented Noori. “We’re thankful for what First Responders do for all of us and want to make the many benefits of yoga available to them in appreciation for their service.”
First Responders will be a one-hour, Level 1 class, held every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., beginning January 15, 2020. For more information or to register, please call Yoga House at (626) 403-3961. Mats and props will be provided.
Yoga House is located at 11 West State Street in Pasadena.
